York March | Type

I think my Graphic Design degree comes into play with this selection of shots. Although my degree specialism was illustration we did a couple of projects relating to Typography.

Using type and lettering as a theme I developed some photos based in York. Many include shots of street signs, cafe boards, shop windows and graffiti.

Through using my insight into lettering and image I came up with some unusual images. They have quite a strong fine art look to them and this seems like the direction I’m going with my photography currently.
