Arcades on the pier – Producing Images with Light

From the trip to Saltburn beach, these set of photos are most unlike any other the other styles I created.

I developed ideas around using light over Christmas, and I think this is a cool development. The location for the shots was located in the indoor amusements of the pier.

The technique to create the moving light, it much easier than the final effect portrays. Set your camera to a slow shutter speed, then move about after pressing the shutter button, moving the lenses in and out also. It’s a great technique to try!
