We visit the same holiday spot each year, despite this each visit I find new things to photograph. Down the bottom of the cottage garden area, stood a beautiful old bench, covered in moss. I found an old cricket ball on the bench; maybe a past visitor left it there.
There seemed to be a story from these found things at the bottom of the garden and also potentially very photogenic subjects. I decided to photograph them and these are the photos I produced.
Clothes pegs are also quite a classic shot, the kind that are quite commonly done. I made the effort to take a couple the pegs, but include my own personal twists.
These twists included mixing old with new pegs, experimenting with depth of field in addition to including some pegs I found on a tied up clothes peg line.
I thought I would blog post some of the more traditional kind of stock image kind of shots. I always end up with a group of these, particularly when visiting such beautiful and natural surroundings. Examples include the old Barbie, landscapes and other outdoor spots.
At the cottage they had a lovely big garden and court yard. There were lovely hanging baskets and borders with pretty plants. I enjoyed pondering around and snapping away. I visited a meadow behind the cottage as well as some plants around the tennis courts too.
