I was really pleased with how this set came out. The ones of her in her pram reminded me of those beautiful little dolls you can get. The baby girl did really well in the shoot, she was very photogenic too.

There were some lovely shots that came out of the couple and the baby.  I’ve included some in monochrome and some in colour, each giving a slightly different effect. My favourite of this bunch was of the couple looking together at the baby.

The children were a delight to work with – very photogenic and smiley. One of my favourite shots from the day was of all the children together, I particularly like it in monochrome.

I completed a shoot last month with a wonderful family. There was a new edition to the family, a beautiful baby girl. I had lots of fun on the shoot; everyone was really lovely to work with.

Pink Petals

There’s a really pretty tree in my neighbours garden which blooms around spring time. My neighbour didn’t mind my going round, so I took some spring flower shots.

Some of the petals were already on the ground, and there was some left on the tree but they were wilting a little. I maybe should have taken some a bit earlier but I achieved some lovely effects particularly with the petals on the ground.

I did minimal editing; mostly photographs are natural. However I brightened them up a little and on a few increased the pink/red quality.

I had much more control over the depth of field, using my new camera. These are mainly macro shots but I did some general shots of the tree too.
