I didn’t travel too far for these images; in fact Id spotted inspiration in a neighbour’s tree and started snapping away. The tree had yellow leaves on, many of which had fallen to the ground.
Both the leaves on the ground and the leaves on the tree were great photo topics. Also I came out with a selection of images that worked well as a series.
The colours really captured autumn well and some of the leaves had been bitten making the photos a little bit more interesting.
At the end I approached the actual tree and started zooming in on leaves that were still on the tree. The light coming through the leaves was fantastic and very atmospheric.
