My inspiration for hands came about at a church event for young children. Capturing hands is a great way to show someone without obviously putting their face into the shot. People can be sensitive to having their picture taken but I try to see it as a creative problem.

In addition to hands, I have taken photos of peoples feet (it may sound weird but I’ve done a couple of really cool shots of wellingtons etc) as well as clothing and much more.

My experience has left me to believe you can really capture a moment or idea with a person’s hands, maybe it reveals their age, there mood and what they are doing at that moment. Here are a couple of my ideas.
