Messy Church November

For those of you who may not know, messy church is an arts and crafts workshop for kids and parents at our local church. The activities are made to teach the children about Christianity.

The event runs every six weeks, each time I photograph the event. For November’s session, the theme was light; however this only became evident towards the end, when the ideas were explained.

I think light could be a great theme for photography work however I mainly focused on themes such as short DOF, colour, reflections and low angles. However after learning about the themes chosen from the event, I aim to be inspired for future work.
