Minimal Tree | 1

This is another series from my neighbour’s blossom tree. While these were taken the blossom tree was in early bloom. I was going for a minimal effect which was created by zooming right in and making sure the backdrop was uncluttered.

After uploading the photos I had taken, I began editing. On some of the images I choose to add more blue tones to add an ethereal effect. On some images I decided I preferred them in monochrome.

Because of the low sunlight and the way I had focused the subject I created bokeh. The bokeh appeared in a number of shots and can be recognised as circles of light. It can be tricky to capture sometimes but low light can often help.
